Bethany 2004 Riesling (Barossa)
Price
$25
This Riesling’s aromas are quite nice: stone, lime and grapefruit, maybe even some almond. Flavors are delicate on the palate, with light pear and stone flavors picking up in intensity toward the finish. Approachable; it’s rounder and softer in feel than Rieslings from Clare.

Bethany 2002 Chardonnay (Barossa)
Price
$26
This wine’s tropical-fruit aromas are overpowering, but settle down on the palate. Butter joins the mango-peach flavors to create a hard candy-like impression in the mouth. Feel is soft; finishes with anise notes. Imported by Great Wines International.

Bethany 2003 Chardonnay (Barossa)
Price
$23
Very fragrant with tropical, peachy fruit. Ditto for the palate, where peaches and mangoes reign, couched in a soft, buttery feel. Over-the-top and soft. Imported by Great Wines International.

Bethany 2002 Shiraz (Barossa)
Online Exclusive
Price
$37
This Shriaz offers pickling spice and wood aromas. On the palate, it's more of the same—dull wood, and some roasted fruit. Simple and flat.
