Bodegas El Molar 2001 Araviñas Semi-Crianza Tempranillo (Ribera del Duero)

Light and flowery in the nose, with delicate notes of lavender and smoke. The palate, however, is compact and intense. The cherry fruit is so acid-driven and reduced that it tastes a bit like a powdered drink mix. Probably best with burgers or steak.
