Dark and a touch rubbery smelling, but overall it’s straightforward. Fresh, lively and lifted on the palate, with sweet, mildly candied plum and blackberry flavors. Nice for a regular wine because it doesn’t overreach. Super easy to drink.  — M.S.  (12/15/2011)
