Bodegas Orusco 2009 Viña Main Tempranillo (Vinos de Madrid)
-
$14
A rubbery, minty, jammy wine, with a mildly candied, gummy feel and sweet, modest, lightly green flavors that suggest red fruits. The finish is decent but herbal and sweet.

Bodegas Orusco 2009 Viña Main Rosado Tempranillo Rosé (Vinos de Madrid)
-
$12
Smells lightly burnt and acrid, with stemmy berry aromas, apricot and match stick. The palate has a flat, creamy feel and stemmy, dry flavors of generic berry and bitterness. Too flat and devoid of fruit to rate higher.

Bodegas Orusco 2009 Viña Main Tinto Joven Tempranillo-Shiraz (Vinos de Madrid)
-
$12
A sappy, heavy Spanish red with candied aromas that fall off to raisin and grass. The palate is sticky and comes in short on acidity, while the flavors are a mix of cough drop and prune. Sweet, clunky and raisiny.

Bodegas Orusco 2009 Viña Main Blanco Malvar (Vinos de Madrid)
-
$12
Dusty, sweet and gummy on the nose, and not very vital. The palate is chunky and dull, with mealy white fruit flavors and a bit of fino sherry or manzanilla. Made from the Malvar grape, and the result is strange and lazy.
