Bressia 2007 Conjuro Red (Mendoza)
-
$120
Dry and balsamic on the bouquet, with earthy, mellow berry aromas that do not push. In the mouth, it comes across charred and roasted, with baked, chocolaty, leafy accents on top of core red fruit flavors. Turns more leafy and charred as it unfolds, with a forward finish. Malbec with Cab Sauvignon and Merlot.

Bressia 2004 Profundo Red (Mendoza)
-
$47
Sort of mossy and leathery at first, with berry fruit and a big blast of woodsy pine defining the nose. Malbec, Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah comprise Profundo, which may not be profound but still offers very good intensity, structure and overall balance. Finishes with light wood, vanilla and leftover berry flavors.
