Like many of the Graff wines, this one is on the light side, but does feature some pretty aromas of talcum powder, chalk dust and fresh limes. Citrusy flavors turn to grapefruit on the mildly peppery finish. —J.C.

If you love the deep, earthy petroleum notes that Riesling can sometimes develop, you’ll like this wine a lot. There’s so much of that here—like the aroma of home heating oil—that it overwhelms the baked Golden Delicious apples that should have been the core of this wine. Still, if you like that style…. —J.C.
