Mouth-filling wine, with delicious creamy red apples, some tropical fruits and a fresh, green citric edge. It is rich, full-bodied, layering citric crispness with rich white fruits.

A surprisingly broad wine for the Vinho Verde region, rich almost. It has a ripe, Chardonnay-like character, creamy and full-bodied. That said, there is also a crisp element, coming through as pink grapefruit and soft pear skins. The finish is all freshness and spice.

Alvarinho gives a rounded, lightly honeyed character to this rich wine. The flavors of baked apple and crisp citrus dominate, with a full feel to the ripe aftertaste.

Bright and fresh, a great mouthful of lemongrass spices, lime and tight, young flavors of grapefruit. The acidity suffuses the wine, lifting it, giving the fruit a vivid character. There is a clean, mineral aftertaste.

Sparkling Vinho Verde is a popular style in Portugal, and the wine, with its unique freshness, does lend itself to bubbles. The acidity is fine, refreshing, tightly crisp. There is some yeastiness that doesn’t sit totally comfortably, but the for the rest, it seems the Portuguese have something.

A delicious floral wine, ideal for summer drinking; there are aromas of green meadows and flavors of crisp grapefruit ripened with apricot. There’s a great dry aftertaste.
