This is almost jet black, saturated with color, and it goes deep with sweet, ripe black cherry and black olive flavors. The blend includes 3% Cab Franc; which added some aromatics. Normally Chandler Reach wines are pure varietals; in this instance the Franc rounded out the midpalate and ramped up the scents.
