Changala 2004 Sublime Red (Paso Robles)
-
$18
Fruity and oaky, with firm, dry tannins housing flavors of cherry pie filling, Dr. Pepper cola, sandalwood, mocha, anise and pepper. Tasty and rewarding, a good companion for sandwiches, smoked meats and burgers. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

Changala 1999 Syrah (Paso Robles)
-
$16
From the warmer east side of the appellation, this wine illustrates the area’s ability to perfecty ripen Syrah to fat, lush flavors of violets, blueberries, chocolate and sweet black cherries. The downside of this sunny sweetness is harsh tannins, which make the wine angular and chunky in the mouth.
