Certainly with herbaceous character, this wine also has more depths of flavor than the simple fruity surface. There is a core of green fruit skin tannins giving the wine a fine structure. There are fine kiwi, even lychee spice, flavors and the wine ends fruity, fresh, yet rounded and concentrated.

Ripe, pure fruit flavors follow spice and smoke aromas. This is a finely balanced wine, with excellent acidity as well as some dark, firm tannins. The red fruits are topped with some new wood spice and creaminess.
