One of the many Pessac-Léognan properties owned by Andre Lurton, Cruzeau has a long history dating back to the 18th century. This 2000 vintage, now totally mature, has great vanilla flavors that balance well with the intense grapefruit flavors and toasty aromas.

With its ripe, yellow fruit flavors, this is a gentle, soft, open wine, which offers immediately pleasure. There is more: the spice from the wood and the pear skin and nutmeg element adding complexity. That suggests aging for 2–3 years, possibly more. But also enjoy now.
