For a 2007 in Beaujolais, this has some weight. True, the fruit has more bubble gum flavor than intensity, but, with a tight band of dry tannins, there is substance in the structure and in the strawberry flavors. Age over the next year.

A rounded, smooth style, its fresh fruits given a sweet edge by ripeness. The structure, just dry, is almost an afterthought in this fruity, accessible wine. To finish, there is delicious acidity as a palate lifter.

Ripe, jammy fruit flavors are the main character of this wine, which shows sweet candy shop Gamay fruits, topping light acidity and some dry tannins. Certainly ready to drink now.

All fresh, crisp red currants and raspberries, this is tight and taut, the fruits just beginning to burst out over the layer of tannins. Drink this year, chill lightly.
