Château Duhart-Milon 2008 Red (Pauillac)
With it cellars in a back street of Pauillac, this wine is often overlooked. But with the same winemaking team as Lafite, it represents a serious wine, solid, chunky, containing delicious fruit. The wood is noticeable at present, but will certainly mingle effortlessly in a few years.

Château Duhart-Milon 2004 Red (Pauillac)
Often outshone alongside its stablemate, Lafite, Duhart-Milon seems to be coming into its own. It is rich and polished, dominated by new wood and soft, ripe fruit. The flavors are black currant, more jelly than fruit, but the power is also here, coming with the tannins and the intense, fresh acidity.
