Château Grand Corbin 2006 Red (Saint-Emilion)

Price
$35
Dominated by tannin, this is a dark-hued, perfumed wine, with minerality and dry fruit dominant. The fruit is still behind in its weight, needing several years to develop, the juicy aftertaste giving a hint of pleasure to come.

Château Grand Corbin 2008 Red (Saint-Emilion)
Cellar Selection
A perfumed wine, balancing ripe fruit with some firm, young tannins. That makes this a very dry wine at this stage, needing time to develop. At present, the black currant fruit fits with a powerful core of dryness. Give it 4–6 years.

Château Grand Corbin 2006 Red (Saint-Emilion)

Firm and rich wine, with the black fruits melding well with the tannins. It has plenty of structure, but that is still at a youthful stage. The final acidity adds freshness and brings in berry fruits.

Château Grand Corbin 2007 Red (Saint-Emilion)

A wine that is highly extracted, the tannins with a hard edge. It is not helped by excessive wood. The ensemble is aggressive and rather tough.
