Château le Prieuré 2006 Red (Saint-Emilion)
Cellar Selection
Online Exclusive
There is a strong layer of new wood here, serving to give structure to the rich berry fruits. Plum juice and black coffee round out the dryness, but the texture is still young, needing four years aging.

Château le Prieuré 2007 Grand Cru Classé Red (Saint-Emilion)
Price
$42
Situated on the plateau of Saint-Emilion, just east of the city, Château le Prieuré has produced a finely structured 2007, not big, but well balanced. Touches of cocoa and cinnamon spice cap the solid fruit and dry tannins. Age for 3–4 years.

Château le Prieuré 2007 Délice du Prieuré Grand Cru Merlot (Saint-Emilion)
Price
$35
Initially a fresh, fruity wine that only shows a streak of tannins and dryness. Pure Merlot, it has generosity, even if remaining light and fresh. There is a final pure line of acidity and berry fruits.
