A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cab Franc, here is a wine that seduces with its spice and fresh, smooth fruits. It is not intensely powerful, relying more on its fruits to attract. The new wood flavors add complexity, although at this stage they are still too dominant.  — R.V.  (6/1/2007)
