Château Nenin 2009 Barrel sample Red (Pomerol)

91-93 Barrel sample. There is a good structure to go with the rich fruit and intense ripeness. The acidity compensates for the slight burn of alcohol.  — R.V.  (8/9/2010)

Château Nenin 2004 Red (Pomerol)

From the Pomerol estate under the same ownership as Léoville-las-Cases in Saint-Julien. A big wine, with generous, opulent fruit. Bitter chocolate as well as ripe black skins and big firm fruits and tannins. To finish, there is a lift of freshness, but this is more about sweet fruits.  — R.V.  (6/1/2007)

90-92. Barrel sample. Powerful tannins and a distinct, solid core distinguish this very dark wine, showing sweet fruit notes with a blackberry juice flavor. It’s very fruity at the end.  — R.V.  (4/6/2012)

Château Nenin 2005 Barrel sample Red (Pomerol)

  • Online Exclusive
90-92 Barrel sample. A very smooth, rich wine, with a slight touch of pepper from the alcohol. The tannins are huge but submerged by ripe fruit. There's almost Napa-like ripeness, but also delicious acidity.  — R.V.  (6/1/2006)

Château Nenin 2006 Red (Pomerol)

There is great depth of fruit here, combined with the velvet textures that come from ripe Merlot. At the same time, this wine has a structure at its heart surrounded by that generous, delicious, blackberry fruit flavor.  — R.V.  (3/1/2009)
