Broadly fruity, a wash of berries and spice. The acids are still a little jarring. The vintage is not as deep as the 2007, and the wine shows a little heat in the finish. This tastes more like a press wine than the ’07, but it is nonetheless very well made. — P.G. (9/1/2011)
