Château Tour de Pez 2008 Red (Saint-Estèphe)
Cellar Selection
Online Exclusive
Relatively soft for a St.-Estèphe, this nevertheless has plenty of firm tannins to project the powerful fruit forward. It has structure and weight, piled with plum juice and acidity. Great aging potential.

Château Tour de Pez 2010 Barrel sample Red (Saint-Estèphe)
Online Exclusive
89-91 Very structured, the wood permeating the fruit, giving a toasty, spicy character. The fruit shows in the juicy under taste. Extraction might be a problem.

Château Tour de Pez 2009 Barrel sample Red (Saint-Estèphe)
Online Exclusive
89-91 Barrel sample. Surprisingly lightweight wine, its freshness the dominant character. It shows bright black fruits and some toast, the tannins a sweet element.

Château Tour de Pez 2004 Red (Saint-Estèphe)
With its typical Saint-Estèphe young tannins, this is going to be quite a hard nut to crack for several years. But it does have structure, black fruits and a hint of fresh acidity. Just sit and wait.
