91-93 A powerful wine, its tannins very dark and dense. The wine has great spice, great concentration, a hugely dense character. There is a hard edge here, but the acidity gives a wonderful black currant aftertaste.

Spicy, with earthy tannins and a stalky character, showing tight black cherry, berry and stone fruit flavors. The firm tannins are in the classic Saint-Estèphe mold.
