If you can accept a slight hint of jamminess, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot is for you. Beyond the ripe cherry and blackberry is a beautiful blast of pleasure and opulence. Pair this wine with succulent cuts of red meat.

This is an excellent vintage, with delicate licorice shadings laced over blackberry, coffee, chocolate and root beer. It’s intense and concentrated with some animal- or meat-like aromas that are within acceptable limits.

Plump, ripe fruit—blackberry and jammy raspberry—open the nose of this pretty blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and other grapes. The wine offers sophisticated tones of dried tobacco and soft leather that suggest some development is already taking place.
