Roasted and brambly on the nose, with lemon, burnt notes and spice more than bold berry fruit. The palate has a tight, rubbery feel and flavors of hickory, clove and mild red berry. A decent but standard and slightly oaky Malbec.

Brambly and leafy on the nose and palate, with tight acidity and reedy, peppery flavors that suggest foresty raspberry. The finish is equally peppery, herbal and leafy, but overall it’s not green or unappealing. A natural wine in that it’s unoaked.

Smells clean and mild, with peach and apple aromas. Rather foamy and rough feeling, with tangy flavors of stone fruits, green apple and pineapple. Light, juicy and fruity on the finish, but basic. Made from 100% Chardonnay using the Charmat method.

Sweet red berry aromas come across reedy and scratchy, with a pinch of green. The palate has heat and edge to it; the flavors are oaky, spicy and herbal, with salinic red fruit. Finishes with smacking tannins, oak flavor and baked notes.

Smells melony as well as stalky and oily. The palate falls on the chunky, soft side of the fence, with sweet melon, candied apricot and tropical flavors. Plump and showing banana-driven sweetness on the finish.

A lot of funk on the nose, and it never really goes away. Aromas of burnt coffee, sulfur and charred meat are less than attractive, while the palate runs weedy. Just too shaky and off to rate better.
