This Bordeaux blend includes a small amount of carmenère, for which this winery has built a reputation, and it is done in a style that has garnered a lot of positive attention. This reviewer finds that the overwhelming presence of brettanomyces, which lends a very horsey, leathery scent and flavor, detracts from everything else. It almost completely kills the fruit. — P.G.
