Saline and oceanic on the bouquet, but largely it’s neutral-smelling. Feels tight and fresh, but tastes a bit stalky and bitter, with baked apple and a strong taste of straw. Finishes with white pepper notes and that same stalky flavor from before.  — M.S.  (5/1/2012)
