Crinella 2006 Sauvignon Blanc (Russian River Valley)
Editors' Choice
Price
$22
What’s so interesting about this wine is the savory minerality, racy acidity and extreme dryness that make it completely different from 99% of the Sauvignon Blancs in California. It’s not without fruit. You’ll find mouthwatering Meyer lemons, sweet Kaffir limes and spicy figs. Just beautiful, and a real sommelier’s wine.

Crinella 2005 Marino Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc (Russian River Valley)

Has dryness and structure, with excellent acidity marking citrus and fig flavors. Spicy finish. There’s a little dip in concentration in the middle palate, but it’s really a wine to watch.

Crinella 2006 Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley)
Price
$40
This is a really drinkable Pinot Noir. It’s dry and silky and crisp, and the flavors are enormously rich, suggesting ripe cherries, raspberries and blackberries baked into a pie. Drink now.

Crinella 2004 Marino Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc (Russian River Valley)

Clean, dry and crisp in acidity, this wine has citrus and fig flavors, with an edge of tangy gooseberry. It’s nice and elegant, but finishes a little thin.
