Elegant and sophisticated, a Syrah to drink now for its rich array of fruits and spices. It’s soft in tannins and acidity, giving a silky, velvery mouthfeel to the cherry, blackberry, bacon, sandalwood and, above all, savory black pepper flavors.

Here’s a well-ripened, juicy red wine that’s full-bodied and rich in fruit, but retains balance and harmony. It’s jam-packed with blackberry, cherry, raspberry and all sorts of other berry and red tree fruits, with an overlay of sweet toasty oak. Stylish and delicious, this is a blend of Mourvedre, Syrah and Grenache.

Co-released with Curtis’s Best Buy Heritage Cuvée, this wine, a blend of Grenache and Syrah, is very similar in its dry construction and forward fruit. Yet it’s a little more tannic, and the oak seems more prominent. The flavors explode with cherries, blackberries, pomegranates, plums and mocha.

Grill a nice steak and wash it down with this richly textured, gentle Syrah. Dry and smoky, it has black pepper-infused flavors of blackberries, currants and singed bacon. Gives lots of elegant pleasure for the price.

This expresses Viognier’s exotic side, with mango, apricot, orange, honeysuckle, mineral, spice and vanilla flavors that are accented by crisp acids. It’s a strong wine, with plenty of complexity—perfect for slightly sweet Asian fare.

This is a very good wine, and this everyday price makes it a real bargain. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault, it’s more proof of California’s ability to produce complex Rhône blends.
