  1. $13
Dry, peppery and earthy on the nose, then juicy and fresh in the mouth, with herbal cherry, chocolate, olive and leathery flavors. Dark, smoky, toasty and varietally correct on the finish. A nice and true taste of Carmenère at a good price.  — M.S.  (9/1/2011)

De Martino 2010 Made with Organically Grown Grapes Sauvignon Blanc (Maipo Valley)

  1. $16
Lime, fresh-cut grass, tangerine and other clean, pure aromas are the greeting. The palate is whimsical and offers good acidic cut; flavors of lime, green apple and chili peppers are correct and turn mildly pithy on the finish.  — M.S.  (9/1/2011)

De Martino 2004 Legado Reserva Sauvignon Blanc (Maipo Valley)

  1. $15
Grassy and fresh, with hints of cucumber, pickle and citrus. From start to finish the wine is pure S.B. The mouth offers tangerine, orange and lemon on an herbal base, and the feel is zesty, clean and fresh. Imported by Global Vineyard Importers.  — M.S.  (7/1/2005)

De Martino 2004 Legada Reserva Chardonnay (Limarí Valley)

  1. $15
Big and broad, with 14.5% alcohol and a lot of butterscotch and baked apple character. The palate delivers toasty apple and lemon flavors, while the finish is solid. A bit of a chunkster but cleanly made and packed with flavor. Imported by The Global Vineyard.  — M.S.  (3/1/2006)

De Martino 2005 Legado Reserva Chardonnay (Limarí Valley)

  1. $15
Arguably a bit overwooded, but if you like a hefty wine (14.5%) with an oily feel, this is it. The mouthfeel is slick and a bit greasy, but with extract to spare that’s the way it is. The flavors are big and typical, with peach, apple and popcorn. A big boy from the Southern Hemisphere.  — M.S.  (10/1/2006)

De Martino 2005 Legado Reserva Carmenère (Maipo Valley)

  1. $15
Standard but crisp red-fruit aromas are the greeting, while the main course is centered around bright raspberry and cherry flavors. It shows a touch of varietal character, meaning it’s spicy and a touch saucy. But overall it registers well, with medium depth and length.  — M.S.  (10/1/2006)

De Martino 2007 Organic Sauvignon Blanc (Maipo Valley)

  1. $13
The fact that this wine is organic is not what stands out. It’s that it hails from warm Maipo Valley and yet it possesses zesty lime, lemon and grapefruit that impresses. From start to finish the wine offers sweet and sour notes that comfortably offset one another, and in the end it comes together well.  — M.S.  (3/1/2008)

De Martino 2006 Legado Reserva Carmenère (Maipo Valley)

  1. $15
A little sweet, dense and pasty on the nose, and that’s also how the wine plays out. It’s a ripe style of Carmenère, with brooding but not overly expressive black-fruit flavors. Ripeness is clearly not an issue as it shows no vegetal or herbal notes. Simply big, bold and not terribly unique.  — M.S.  (7/1/2008)
