DFJ Vinhos 2002 Merlot-Touriga Franca Red (Estremadura)
A firm, tannic wine with elegant structure. The red fruits from the Merlot are a great foil for the tannins of the Touriga Franca. Even at five years, this is still fruit dominated, although the wood and spice element is well integrated.  — R.V.  (12/15/2007)
