It has all the right density, rich black fruit flavors and edge of minerality, an impressively ripe wine from a lighter red wine year. The strawberry acidity gives extreme freshness at the same time as lifting the firm structure. For aging.

The Domaine des Perdrix belongs to the Devillard family, which also runs Antonin Rodet. This seriously rich, dark wine is packed with tannins and some new wood, plus ripe red fruits. There are layers of caramel and vanilla which, at this young stage, are masking the fruit. Imported by Winesellers.
