Domaine d'Eugenie 2006 Pinot Noir (Clos Vougeot)
Bought in 2006 by François Pinault, also owner of Bordeaux Château Latour, Domaine d’Eugenie (the former Domaine René Engel) is just starting out. Already the style, as in this wine, exhibits power, concentration and structure. But here, also, there is great, vibrant fruit, the red berry flavors rolling around the mouth.

Domaine d'Eugenie 2006 Pinot Noir (Echézeaux)
An intensely perfumed, almost exotic wine. The fruit is ripe, rich, packed with black cherries, spice and concentration. It is big on structure, a powerhouse of a wine, surprisingly dense for 2006.

Domaine d'Eugenie 2006 Pinot Noir (Grands-Echezeaux)
Power from black fruits and dense tannins, create very intense wine. The fruits are sweet, the color big and dark. But in the end, it works, with an elegance showing through the richness.

Domaine d'Eugenie 2006 Pinot Noir (Vosne-Romanée)
A dark wine, with a raisiny, extracted character. The flavors are black jam, finishing with juicy black plum.
