Starts off rather dark, marked by smoke, charred wood, espresso and black olive notes. But there’s a core of fruit and spice as well. Feels plump and round in the mouth, but lacks great depth or structure. Drink now for its pretty finish filled with spice and tea leaves.  — J.C.  (11/15/2006)
