Medium-gold in color. Complex and inviting nose layered with a strong earthy minerality, vibrant bright fruit and intriguing notes of petrol and honey. On the palate it is racy, taut and focused full of well defined ripe succulent citrus and stone fruit. Rich, viscous texture perfectly balanced by the wine's crispness and almost steely minerality. Very long, juicy…

There's a hint of kerosene to this wine's ripe, yet minerally, aromas. Shows a muscular, sturdy structure in the mouth, which should allow it age gracefully, slowly evolving from melon and pear fruit to exhibit the more mineral aspects it displays on the finish.

The extra richness of a Grand Cru shows well in this wine. The texture is intense, with some good concentrated green and white fruit flavors supplemented by minerality, steel, structure and a taut, vibrant finish.

Attractive mid-gold color. Compelling layers of tangy citrus and stone fruit aromas with notes of honey and earthy minerality. Intense flavors of honey, tangy orange citrus, sweet peach and apricot that are both rich and juicy. Crisp acidity provides a perfect balance for the slight sweetness on the finish. Taut and focused.

No doubting the pure Riesling character of this wine. It has a beautiful perfumed character with lively acidity, a steely mineral character and a great purity of fruit.

An intense, fruity wine, with concentrated steely, stony flavors. Initially austere, it opens into fine, ripe aromas. But it remains on the dry, crisp side, a definite food wine. Needs 2–3 years of aging.

Lightly spicy wine, with a honeyed core, this attractive ripe fruit-flavored wine also shows a crisper, more acid side of Gewürztraminer. The finish revels in more tropical fruit character.
