The wine is rich and complex and quite delicious. Edizione Pennino 2006 Zinfandel (Rutherford)

This is one of the few Zinfandels with a Rutherford appellation. It’s quite a good wine, deliciously easy to drink with its creamy texture and dry, soft flavors of blackberries, currants, chocolate and licorice, made all the more zesty with peppery spices.
