Earthy tobacco and natural warmth provide for a good nose. It’s briary smelling as well, with racy cherry and plum flavors. Shows some heat from 15% alcohol, but for $9 wine it packs a lot power and flavor. Unmistakable Garnacha that reflects sunny environs.  — M.S.  (11/1/2011)
