Fabiano 2004 Red (Recioto della Valpolicella)
Recioto’s saturated ruby color is irresistible and Fabiano’s version is an excellent example. The aromas are vibrant and generous, including black cherry, blueberry, exotic spice, caramel, toasted almond and chocolate. This wine has a chewy texture with sweet tannins and long-lasting chocolate-like flavors.

Fabiano 1999 Red (Amarone della Valpolicella)

A bit more racy than most, with fresh fruit on the nose, some minerality and quite a bit of snap. Cherry and cranberry flavors vie with richer dark-fruit notes, while the finish is spicy and long. More of an old-school wine, and one that should do well with meat and hearty pastas.
