Feudo Arancio Stemmari is Sicilian winery, growing grapes on 1,400 acres [Web site says 1,500 acres] on the island’s southern coast where growing conditions include hot sun, intense light and fertile soils. The winery produces popular varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Moscato, and Syrah, and Sicily’s indigenous varietals Grillo and Nero d’Avola. The wines run the range from classic dry wines to sweet dessert wines.

You’ve got to hand it to the folks at this estate: they make nice wines at low prices. This Sicilian Chardonnay is bright and creamy with aromas of orange blossom, almond, golden honey and mature apricot. The wine feels crisp and pristine in the mouth. Very nice.
