Finca La Niña 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)
Best Buy
Price

Jammy raspberry up front, with some earth and zest. The mouth pulses with lively raspberry and cherry, while the finish hits firmly with initial fruit that gives way to chocolate. Harmonious and well priced. Imported by Global Wine Imports LLC.

Finca La Niña 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)
Best Buy
Price
$9
Snappy red fruit aromas endow this Cab with approachability, while the palate is clean, tasty and a little lean, with spicy, piquant raspberry flavors. Dry and peppery on the finish, but honest and clean throughout. Average wine; good value.

Finca La Niña 2009 Chardonnay (Mendoza)
Best Buy
Price
$9
Not bad for basic Argentine Chardonnay. The nose has banana and tropical fruit aromas to go with dried hay, while the soft-bodied palate has enough acidity to keep it flowing. Flavors of melon, banana and vanilla are solid even though it flattens out and shows mild bitterness on the finish.

Finca La Niña 2008 Malbec (Mendoza)
Online Exclusive
Price
$9
Young and foxy Malbec with red fruit aromas and a little bit of wet dog. There’s no shortage of freshness and pop on the palate, and the cherry and raspberry flavors are nothing if not racy. Shows a tasty, sweet side but also rudimentary raw materials.
