Fratelli FICI 2000 Baglio Fici Syrah (Sicilia)

No, it’s not terribly recognizable as Syrah, but it tastes good, with cherries and vanilla framed by dried spices and garnished with an overlay of fresh herbs. Medium-weight and very smooth. Drink now–2006.  — W.E.  (10/1/2003)
