Gibbston Valley 2000 Pinot Noir (Central Otago)
Online Exclusive
Price
$30
If you’re familiar with Santa Barbara Pinots, this is eerily reminiscent, with its bright raspberry and cherry flavors accented by tomato and crushed brown spices. Of course, the whole is framed in fancy oak. The big difference is acidity. This wine shines with New Zealand crispness, a tart, zingy mouthfeel you never get from California.

Gibbston Valley 2001 Pinot Gris (Central Otago)
Online Exclusive
Price
$22
Just as fresh and crisp as a wine can be, this vibrantly fruity wine brims with peach and citrus flavors with a nice grassy nuance. The acidity is very high and provides a needed counterpoint to the rich, slightly sweet flavors.
