A coppery colored, off-dry-to-frankly-sweet wine that’s simple, fruity and a little cloying. The dominant flavors are peaches and strawberries, with a very spicy finish, but the acidity seems a bit low. Still, at this price, millions of people will find a lot to like.  — S.H.  (2/1/2001)
