Golding 2002 Lenswood Sauvignon Blanc (Adelaide Hills)
Editors' Choice
Price
$17
Darren Golding’s excellent Lenswood SB stood out in a flight of its peers—it toes the line between raciness and roundness. It has lime, passion fruit and stone fruit on the palate and fresh green pea, grass and floral aromas. Finishes with lime and fleshy yellow peach.

Golding 2004 Sauvignon Blanc (Adelaide Hills)
Price
$15
Aromas are of fresh green peas, and flavors are of grass and limes. Medium-weight and just tart enough; a textbook, very good Sauvignon. Imported by Vine Street Imports.

Golding 2005 Western Branch Sauvignon Blanc (Lenswood)
Price
$20
Very fragrant meat and hickory notes waft from the nose. Palate offers yellow peach and pear flavors, but a flat, dull feel. Weighty, rather than nimble, as a SB should be.

Golding 2004 Billy Goat Hill Chardonnay (Lenswood)
Online Exclusive
Price
$22
Aromas are very pungent: yellow pineapple, peach, mustard seed—another reviewer even noted some corn notes. Coats the mouth with a butterscotch-toast flavor, with peach and apple to finish. Wants more stuffing midpalate. Imported by Southland Wines.
