There’s an attractive maturity to this bottling of Cuvée Flamme, giving a wine that is certainly dry, but is also rich. The initial fruitiness has been replaced with almond, yeast and toast flavors, balanced with a final ripe burst of baked apple.

An attractive onion skin-colored wine with flavors of raspberries and a smooth, full mousse. This blend of Cabernet Franc and Grolleau is more than just fruity, with a fine structure and good finishing dryness. Imported by New Castle Imports.

A big, rich wine, from a fine year in the Loire. The fruits are sweet, although the acidity and texture make this wine dry. Flavors of peach, pear and spice work well together here, giving a fine, ripe mouthful of creamy mousse.

Pale salmon and orange in color, this is a wine that brings together almonds, red fruits and a yeasty character. It is full-bodied, the ripe fruits like fruit candy, a bitter edge never far away.

A lightly crisp sparkling wine, given a delicious lift with citrus and mineral components. Floral and fruity, this is fine apéritif wine, just soft enough, an edge of nuts and yeast giving an extra dimension.

A fresh, pleasantly crisp wine that has some structure and citrus flavors. The Chardonnay in the blend gives some roundness, but there is too high a level of acidity to finish.

Attractive raspberry and red currant fruits, a blend of Cabernet Franc and Grolleau (a variety that lends itself to rosé wines), with just the right balance of acidity, given an edge of softness from the sugar dosage. The wine is light, crisp, ready to drink.

A soft rosé, touched by crisp raspberry flavors and fresh red apple acidity. The vintage produced ripe wine, and this shows in the underlying full structure. But it is only for aging over the next 2–3 years.
