Guicciardini Strozzi 2005 Vignarè Red (Bolgheri Superiore)
This gorgeous wine opens with unmistakable sophistication and thickly concentrated notes of black fruit, leather, spicy tobacco, beef jerky and long-lasting spice. It’s a very well-executed wine with softer shades of vanilla and almond paste and a smooth, long-lasting finish. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Guicciardini Strozzi 2005 A Solo Petite Verdot (Maremma)
-
$29
Thick concentration sets the stage of this dark, impenetrable Petit Verdot. The black aromas recall mesquite, redwood, cured meat, wet earth, tobacco, leather, black pepper and blackberry. A bruiser wine, dense and massive.
