Guilliams 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon (Spring Mountain)

  1. $28
Very dark, brooding color. Has classic aromas of currant and blackberry, with generous char and vanilla. Very rich. Focused, pinpointed fruit; not flamboyant but elegant, balanced and harmonious. The tannins are soft enough to drink now, but will age.  — S.H.  (2/1/2000)

Guilliams 2004 *Barrel Sample* Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

Starts out intense, nervous and taut with acidity and tannins, but is very concentrated in fresh blackberry-cherry fruit. Should age well.  — S.H.  (8/1/2004)
