The core of this Cab is red plum coated in chalky but smooth tannins that extend through the finish. Nut, toast and Bourbon-liqueurish aromas emerge on the nose. (Thanks, French oak barrels!) An approachable, yummy Cab...and it won't break the bank, either.  — D.T.  (6/1/2003)
