You’ll be surprised how much class there is in this inexpensive Chardonnay. It’s rich in orange, pineapple and butterscotch flavors, while brisk acidity etches it in brightness. Finishes a little sweet, but you can stand this against many Chards that cost two or three times as much.

This is a fine value and actually a pretty nice Merlot. Dry and soft, it has very attractive flavors of cherries, cocoa, pepper and mint, and finishes with a nice, sweet touch of smoky vanilla.
