Hollywood Hill 2009 Pinot Noir (Puget Sound)

This is really lovely. The aromas are true to the variety, elegant and floral, with an undertone of dusty cocoa. Flavors follow. In the mouth it tastes of raspberries and rose petals, with pretty chocolate milk flavors in the finish, which lingers gracefully, a very fine, though delicate, bottle.

Hollywood Hill 2008 Syrah (Wahluke Slope)
-
$32
Elegant, aromatic, and expressive in the nose, this blossoms into a pleasing mix of berries, cherries, bark, spice and sassafras. Good acidity, with a lick of chocolate in the tannins and the finish. Though very light for Syrah, this has good balance and length.

Hollywood Hill 2009 Joyeuse Red (Puget Sound)

$34
This unusual blend, all estate grown, is 70% Pinot Noir, 20% Regent, and 10% Agria. The Regent and Agria contribute color and tannin, black fruits and spices, but the elegance of the Pinot Noir remains. Nicely made, showing pretty black cherry fruit and just a hint of leather.
