Howling Wolves 2005 Small Batch Cabernet Franc-Merlot Red (Margaret River)

A 50-50 blend, this wine shows some firm tannins and some slightly green, herbal notes. But those aspects are balanced by plenty of cassis fruit; it should come together nicely in 2–3 years’ time. Don’t expect it to be a lush, fruity wine, but a slightly herbal, elegant one.
