A 50-50 blend, this wine shows some firm tannins and some slightly green, herbal notes. But those aspects are balanced by plenty of cassis fruit; it should come together nicely in 2–3 years’ time. Don’t expect it to be a lush, fruity wine, but a slightly herbal, elegant one.

An earthy, savory style, with just enough crisp blackberry and sour plum fruit to give it a sense of modernity. It's fairly full-bodied, finishing with a squirt of lemon juice and some dusty tannins.
