Il Colombaio di Santachiara 2006 L'Albereta Vernaccia (Vernaccia di San Gimignano)
Price
$21
This pretty barrique-aged Vernaccia delivers a luminous, golden color and perfume-like aromas of jasmine, almond, pear, honey, apricot and melon. It has a creamy, smooth mouthfeel and ripe melon flavors that are typical of this Tuscan variety.

Il Colombaio di Santachiara 2004 Sangiovese (San Gimignano)
Online Exclusive
Price
$25
Sangiovese (90%) with small parts Colorino and Canaiolo create a spice-driven wine with an emphasis on ginger, cinnamon and powdered clove. It demonstrates thick color and density and a rich, chewy mouthfeel that is accented by plum and dried currant.

Il Colombaio di Santachiara 2005 Il Priore Red (Toscana)
Price
$15
This Sangiovese-Canaiolo blend has loads of sweet spice on the nose. There’s so much spice, in fact, it’s not easy to locate its natural core of red fruit. The mouthfeel is great with lingering tones of white mineral and toasted wood.

Il Colombaio di Santachiara 2006 Selvabianca Vernaccia (Vernaccia di San Gimignano)
Price
$13
The golden, saturated color tells you that you are in for a creamy, dense Vernaccia with notes of pineapple, Golden Delicious apple and freshly chopped nuts. The wine does indeed have good heft and structure in the mouth and delivers fresh, fruity flavors.
