Il Feuduccio Di S. Maria D'Orni 2001 Ursonia Montepulciano (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo)
-
$45
This is a thick, dense and well-aged expression of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo with penetrating aromas of blackberry, ink, dried currant berry, plum, prune and exotic spice. It has a big, modern personality and gritty tannins on the close.

Il Feuduccio Di S. Maria D'Orni 1998 Ursonia Montepulciano (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo)
-
$31
Like the ’99 normale, this wine doesn’t smell or taste like standard-fare Montepulciano. It has more character and quality, and it’s entirely rich, oaky and stylish. Modern in every sense of the word, with plum, blackberry and bitter chocolate flavors. The finish is smooth, solid and complete, and the mouthfeel sizzles courtesy of fine acids and light-framed tannins.
